About Feeding America Texas
A Texas nonprofit helping people navigate local food assistance and official benefit programs.
Feeding America Texas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 92-1776845) focused on helping people find food-assistance information in Texas. Our searchable directory uses the platform operated by Feed America at feedam.org.
The directory brings together records from government and public program sources. A listing is a starting point: it does not mean we operate the service, endorse the provider, or have personally confirmed its current hours. Contact the provider to check availability, eligibility, and pickup details.
Search is free and does not require an account. There are no paid placements. Our guides connect readers with official applications and program information; the agencies and providers make eligibility decisions.
How we fit in the Feed America family
Feeding America Texas (EIN 92-1776845) is a state-focused affiliate of Feed America (EIN 92-1761881), the Houston-founded 501(c)(3) that operates the nationwide directory at feedam.org. The parent runs the technology and the national dataset; this entity exists so that Texas-directed gifts, grants, and partnerships can be received and attributed at the state level. Each organization is independently registered with the IRS; our record is in the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search (EIN 92-1776845).
